Headset Before you can use Skype, you need to have a headset with a microphone. You can buy a good quality headset for about 2,000 yen. You can buy a headset at your nearest electronics store, like K’s Denki. I recommend a headset with two earphones instead of one. If you want a wireless headset (one earphone only), I recommend the Plantronics Voyager 510 headset. It’s easy to use and very convenient, but it’s expensive. If your cell phone has a Bluetooth device, you can use the Plantronics Voyager 510 headset with your phone. I use my wireless headset frequently, and I love it! ー Non-Students Not a student at Sloan’s English School? No problem! If you would like to chat online, you can sign up for a weekly session of “Night Owl Chat.” If there is availability, you may sign up for a session starting Monday of each week. Please note that non-students cannot sign up earlier than Monday! ー Students Students at Sloan’s English School may sign up for a “Night Owl Chat” session a week before a given “Night Owl Chat” session. ー Structured Conversation "Structured Conversation" means that the conversation will be centered on a preplanned article, topic, task, event, or other material. Information will be sent to you via email, or posted on the “Night Owl Chat” page in the “Homework Box” in the left column.
