ESLStay
offers 3 programs:
1) The Basic
Homestay, 2) Homestay Plus English
Instruction/Sightseeing and 3)
Homestay Maximum.
The Basic Homestay includes room, 3 meals and
snacks. The Basic Homestay guest
has a plan for the week(s) in Seattle and is mostly on his/her own during the
day. Of course, you are welcome and
encouraged to join your hosts for regular household activities, errands and
recreation. Gini works at Seattle
Central Community College near the downtown area, so you may want to ‘hitch a
ride’ downtown in the morning and/or come home with her in the afternoon. There will be time to chat so that
you can practice English in the context of daily life.

Homestay Plus English
Instruction/Sightseeing includes
the basic homestay plus your choice of 15 hours of English instruction and/or
sightseeing. You can choose to
study for all of the 15 hours, or go sightseeing for 15 hours or combine both
English instruction and sightseeing.
Gini will work at the College in the morning Monday through Friday and
be ready to join her guest(s) at noon for English and sightseeing. Your week might include 6 – 8 hours of
sightseeing and 7 – 9 hours of English, for example.

Maximum This
package is only available when Gini is not working at the College (between
quarters or quarter off). During
that time your host is available to teach English and go sightseeing with you
on a full-time daily basis: 25-30
hours of focused English instruction and sightseeing weekly.
